King George V Park : Proposed Replacement of Existing Play Area including the Provision of an “Inclusive” area.

Crossford Community Council are launching a new community consultation for our New Play Park.

We are thrilled to share the outline proposals for our brand-new community play park! Our goal is to transform this space into a new gathering spot that offers enhanced play opportunities for children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

What’s in the current proposal?

  • Inclusive & Accessible Layouts: Wide, smooth path systems perfect for wheelchairs, mobility aids, and baby buggies.
  • Play for All Abilities: Specialized inclusive equipment like basket swings, Inclusive Gnome Springie and wheelchair-accessible roundabouts so all children can play together.
  • Sensory & Adventure Zones: Features like Sensory fidget play panels and tactile surfaces for exploratory play.
We need your voice!

A great play park built by the community, for the community. We ant to hear what equipment, themes, or features matter most to your family.

The online consultation window closes on 16th November 2026. Let’s build a space where imagination can run wild!
