Crossford Village Hall was once the village school. In 1924 the children were relocated to a school half way between Crossford and Cairneyhill which both communities used.

In 1924 a number of residents negotiated with the council and purchased the building which belongs to the village and is managed by a committee of volunteers.

Over the years the building has been modernised and offers good facilities for anyone who wishes to use it. These include a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, tables and chairs for 60 people. Also available is a loop and sound system for hearing aid users. There are Ladies, Gents and disabled toilets.

At the present time the building is well used by a number of organisations.

Many activities take place during the week including the following- Carpet bowls, Ladies Group, Community Council meetings, Children’s dancing classes, Yoga, Zumba and keep fit sessions.

The hall is available for hire for parties and fundraising events.
